Jessie Penn-Lewis was truly used by the Lord to uplift the Saints and to bring those unsaved to the Lord. 'The Centrality of the Cross', in my opinion, was written 100 years ahead of it's time. Many truths and aspects of the cross seem to have been 'misplaced' by the mainstream or Christians now a days. We are truly in the end times, and if we do not take up our cross with the Lord, if we do not put the self to death and make the cross the centre of our spiritual endevour, then we shall never make it to the kingdom as those Laodicean beleivers shall.
