A MAN LOST IN TIME BATTLES THE MOST DANGEROUS FOE HISTORY CAN CONJURE…
A.D. 102. Two men—centurions in the Roman Legion—are locked in an eternal battle with destiny. One is a fugitive, driven mad by the deeds of his past. Haunted by a demonic force that has tortured him for more than half-a century, he fights to retain his sanity long enough to separate himself from civilization.
The other is Jack Sigler, callsign: King, a former Delta operator torn from the present and hurled into the pages of history. King must endure the long journey through the ages to be reunited with his loved ones in the world he knows.
When the plagued centurion cuts a swath of destruction from Jerusalem to Britannia, entire villages are destroyed, and the bodies of the dead are torn apart, becoming part of something larger, something ancient and evil. When King crosses path with the centurion, and sees the decimation caused by his affliction, he stands in the path of history once more, willing to fight, and sacrifice to save the innocent.
But who will save him?
…HIS OWN GUILT.
Jack Sigler, an immortal soldier stuck in the past, forced to live through thousands of years of history to return to his family in the present, is back in this third Continuum thriller from Jeremy Robinson and J. Kent Holloway, who once again boldly re-imagine history.

I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. There was a little bit of horror mixed into this fast paced story, and it really added to the adventure. I have been anxiously awaiting another installment in the Jack Sigler universe because I love these Continuum novellas! As long as Robinson & Holloway want to write them, I'll continue to buy them.
Centurion is the third book in the Jack Sigler Continuum Series by Jeremy Robinson and is co-written with J. Kent Holloway. Early in the first century A.D., we find King in Britannia, King is a Roman Centurion traveling with a priest and an unusually young man. They are hunters chasing an infected Roman Centurion close to 100 years old. The infection reminds me of the infection in Jeremy Robinson’s horror Sentinel and Raven novels. (If you haven’t read those, you are in for a treat.) This infection though is centuries earlier in earth’s history and much more powerful. King and his companions, with the addition of a young girl and a female warrior, chase the infected around Britannia and all the way to Stonehenge before figuring out how to kill it. It was great to be reading about King again. Although the story is short and is over quickly, it’s a good story to add to his millennia existence. I was given a copy at no cost for the purpose of giving an honest review.
