About the Author

Richard Ognibene received an Ed.D. in history of education from the University of Rochester. He taught most recently at Seton Hall University and Siena College. Ognibene is editor of A Persistent Reformer: Jonathan Kozol's Work to Promote Equality in America and author of several chapters related to contemporary school reform.
