I really love this series. This was really good book, but it just wasn't favorite of the series. I think I missed more of a presence of the Lightbearers. Tami did an excellent job of creating a villain in this book. I strongly disliked him right from the start. Rachel is pretty much struggling in her life barely ends meat then her worst nightmare comes into her life. With the fear for her life she does this evil man's bidding. When she meets her target Josh he is nothing like she expects. Josh is keeping a big secret from her and it's for the survival of his pack. Rachel starts to weave her way through Josh's life, but she starting feel something for this gentle giant of a man. I liked how the pack to find words to best describe who they are without telling exactly who they are to Rachel. Josh is going against pack by just being associated with Rachel, but when strong feelings develop will he be willing to potentially sacrifice his spot within the pack? How is he going to react once he learns the turn nature of why Rachel came into his life? Tami does an excellent job or weaving her magic to create an awesome tale.
