About the Author

Jacinta Jade is the author of the fantasy coming of age series, Change of Chaos. She loves a strong female lead, a good fight scene and surprising endings.

Jacinta likes to make friends of strangers in local hangouts, enjoys competing in tower climbs and has held national titles in martial arts (with not too many injuries).

When she isn't writing, Jacinta splits her time between counting down until the next Star Wars movie, playing games like Far Cry and Tomb Raider and creating costumes for ComicCon.

Jacinta does her best writing in beautiful, mysterious and random locations, but preferably the ones where a good cup of coffee might be close by. Currently, that location is MELBOURNE.

Reviewed by Alyssa Elmore for Readers' Favorite The lives of a group of Resistance members are threatened when their training camp is destroyed, and their mentors are murdered or captured by The Faction in the breathtaking novel, Change of Edict (The Change Series Book 2) by Jacinta Jade. With the training camp gone and very few survivors left, Siray and Decon must join forces with another group of Allies to stay alive. Acting on unpredictable information from a trustworthy source, Siray and her friends begin searching for a secondary, undisclosed Camp location. Traveling by night to avoid Faction soldiers, the group is in constant danger of being discovered. With the threat of disloyalty lurking about, waiting to spring on them, they must trust their instincts, but will it be enough? As they get closer to their destination, the danger of discovery increases. How will they survive? If they do live, will it be worth their sacrifice? Harry Potter meets Avatar in the YA science fiction novel, Change of Edict (Change Series Book 2) by Jacinta Jade. This book is the engrossing, must-not-miss sequel to Change of Chaos. Defiant Shifters, adventure, romance, and out-of-this-world settings; this book has it all! The characters instantly come alive and seem to jump off the page as you are drawn into another world; a place where loyalty and love aren't just words, and moons light up the purple sky. This adventure takes the reader on a thrilling ride that sets up book three beautifully. Masterfully woven, this story may be the second book in a series, but it reads well as a stand-alone. This novel will definitely have its readers begging for the next installment! I was very impressed with how the author masterfully wove the plots together and created a solid story world with three dimensional characters. If you enjoy colorful new worlds, romance, action, shape-shifting, and stories of surviving the odds, then this book is for you!

Here Kitty Kitty I finished reading a wild roller coaster of a story, Change of Edict (The Change Series Book 2) by Jacinta Jade, just the other day. Wow, to say it's been a while since I found a writer with such profound and original creativity and vivid imagination would be a big understatement This stories diverse cast of characters are strange and complex which demands the reader's attention, to keep up with the fast-paced, busy storyline. I have personally read a bunch of books containing shape-shifting, changing, and morphing. Although nothing like the originality and complexity of this book's clever writer. It's obvious this book required and the author put in a great deal of hard work, from the excellent proof and editing process to the well-defined structure of a very complicated and detailed script. I must comment about the creepy and cool cover art. It really grabbed me and greatly enhanced the overall package.

This is the second book in the "Change" series. It is a fantasy series that follows a young female (Siray) as she and her friends fight against the Faction, which are trying to capture and/or destroy them because of their unique abilities. In this book, Siray has learned to change into two animal forms and has been trained by the resistance to be a fighter. She and her friends find refuge from the Faction with an underground group of the Resistance and work to hone their skills as fighters, preparing for the day they will need to use those skills. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Many times in a series, the second book is not as good or exciting as the first, but that is not the case here! It was well written and the characters were well developed. Although I usually don't care for the "love triangle" type scenarios, the way that it was done here was tasteful and believable. There was a lot of action in this book, so it was definitely a page-turner. I am excited to find out what happens to Siray and her friends in book #3!
