About the Author
Rob Pleas's interest in photography grew out of influence from his Grandmother, who was a professional portrait photographer in a small town. He learned many of the basics from her and later he completed the Professional Photography Course from the New York Institute of Photography. Rob specializes in nature and wildlife photography but thoroughly enjoys the challenge of capturing the expressions and antics of children. By the way, his last name is pronounced, "Place".
"I discovered that there is so much more to a photograph than simply seeing a pretty scene and capturing it on film. Each subject has its own story, which is so easy to overlook. The title simply refers to me discovering that."
Note: this is not a technical photography book. It is designed to be read and enjoyed by all.
