Sent to the country to visit rural clients accountant Blaise Johns doesn't know what to do when he meets a mob of sheep on the road. He accidently runs over one of Dusty Miller's ewes and his cool crisp competitive demeanour is dented as he tries to figure out how to make amends with a woman who is intent on busting his balls. Then there's the competition, Aaron, who isn't going to be pushed aside. As the out-of-towner will Blaise step up to country life for Dusty? Dusty is furious at Blaise, but the man won't go away and leave her to run her farm. A sassy self-sufficient young woman, Dusty struggles to Blaise, who is clueless about the life she lives, in to her heart. When two worlds, country and city come together, an explosion of differences rocks the foundation of two people's lives, forcing them to face the future in unplanned ways, and to give each other another chance, make amends and find common ground.

Chasing Dust Clouds by Lilliana Rose is accountant Blaise Johns and Dusty Miller's story. Dusty is a country girl that is strong and independent. Blaise is a city boy and has no idea how things work in the country. Then you have Dusty's ex-boyfriend who isn't giving up. This is a sweet, sensual romance. I loved Dusty and Blaise's story. It was fun watching city boy and country girl relationship grow. Dusty will never leave the country life but will Blaise be able to leave city life? FYI, includes mature content. This was a very fun read of Dusty and Blaise when they first met it was cute and funny. They are as opposite as night and day but their personalities blend very well together. Being raised on a farm myself and having a pet lamb I can understand how she would be so upset at losing one of her ewes to a man who is in need of driving lessons. Lol I just love a women who has no trouble standing up for herself Dusty does have one sassy mouth that goes very well with sexy attitude and hot tempter. They might meet head on with tempter raised but the full of attraction is strong. Neither can forget the other as they go over every time they have been together. Opposite do attract and have some of the best relationships but can a city man and country women make a match in heaven? I loved the characters that are bold, sassy and just too cute as they stand their ground bring many hours of wonderful reading. Blaise is just a sweet heart, smart, willing to help which at times makes things worse add that to handsome, and every woman’s dream man. Dusty is a lady full of pride and little rough around the edge and one sexy little package. It is going to take one heck of a man to pull her in and keep her. I thought this was cute very funny but at times a little dark and sad. It was well written giving the reader a delightful read that really pulls you in. I loved the plot with a mix of this and that. The characters blend very well together as the hook you turning you evening to one of delight.

Heat Level: 2 flames out of 5 Rating: 4 stars out of 5 This is a pretty light story set in the rural farm country of Australia. Blaise is an accountant who is sent by his office in the city to work with the farmers to do their bookkeeping and prepare their taxes. Blaise has his mind set on a big promotion. After he finishes up with the farmers he will be a shoo-in to become a junior partner. Blaise didn’t count on hitting a sheep crossing the road or being so attracted to the beautiful woman who owned the sheep. The city boy is blundering around trying not to get dirty, but when he offers to help Dusty with the shearing of the sheep, things get very dirty and his problems begin. Dusty and Baise go from annoyance and hate to I can’t wait to see him/her again in a matter of a day. There is an attraction that can not be controlled, but the city boy is out of his element with these country people. The book has many funny situations as well as a serious side. It is a fast, easy read that is sure to leave you smiling at the end. This story has the happy ever after that I love so much. I wish that there was more about the characters in this story. I got a pretty good feel for Dusty, but I felt that there was more to Blaise than the author showed. ***Gifted in exchange for an honest review*** I saw an Australian Rural Romance up to be reviewed, and since I have lived there and also worked on sheep farms I was keen to head into a book that would also take me down memory lane. When Blaise (ooh I know Swoonworthy name) gets lost on a trip into the rural Victorian landscape which is usually poorly signposted and can look the same for miles and miles (or rather in Australia, Kilometres!) accountant Blaise is busy trying to find what road he should take when suddenly hes about to drive into a mob of sheep on the road. This scene was well written and accurate as I have been in similar situations, and when he runs over one the owner of the sheep, Dusty is righteously irate. Their opposite personalities are a match for fireworks and Blaise finds his cool calm city attitude is taken as arrogance, Dusty is fuming, farmers are having it tough in the current climate, and with wool prices being low, Dusty can't afford to loose a pregnant ewe! She soon cuts his weak apologies down with her firey temper and honest comments about his lack of care on a rural road. Blaise knows the truth when he hears it and while searching for the farm he was supposed to be going to decides he needs to make it up to the sassy but beautiful Dusty. The side characters ensure that a full picture of a small rural town is given to the reader, and I loved the B&B couple, and unfortunately Dusty's Ex has quite a believable character but he is soon put in his place, Dusty doesn't need someone to rescue her, but she still appreciates having a man to back her up in a fight. Lilliana Rose has got the right mix of laughter, drama and romance in a story that will have you heading off into the rural landscape of Australia for a HEA - even if there are a few pot holes on the way. ***Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official***
