Overview

Fourteen years have passed since Adamar the fox retrieved Miro, his kit, from the wicked Girbindon, and the annual trials are approaching. Adamar is preparing for the trials, finally able to attend after years of recovery from a wound Girbindon gave him, which has still not fully healed. Miro is a teenage fox, and is friends with Sky, a teenage wolf. The two are capable of great magic, and are pushed into learning how to use their magic when Girbindon's power makes a murderous appearance. As Miro and Sky, along with Adamar, begin their education and head to Itador for the trials, they discover the forms magic can take, including those in the obstacles Girbindon, whose presence grows daily, places in their way.
