If I could give this book more stars I would. From beginning to end this story was amazing. Be prepared though, it doesn't end the way most romantics would want it to end. I've never cried while reading a book before I read this. Granted its heartbreaking and the diehard romantic in me wants to hate this book, but I simply can't. A huge thanks to Lacey Weatherford for writing such an amazing book. I'm debating on reading the sequel to this mainly because I feel like if Chase falls inlove with another girl it will ruin the love he and Nikki shared, even though everyone deserves love. Here's to more of Lacey Weatherfords amazing books!

My head hurts from crying! This was such an amazing book! I laughed, I cried, and then i cried some more. I have never felt like such a girl! Which is saying something since I am indeed a girl. It was amazing, sucked me in from the begining. Congrates to the author, I've never actually finished a "sappy" book before. You're my first. ;)

I just started reading Chasing Nikki this morning and two hours later, I am writing the review. Everything is still fresh in my mind and when I say that I mean, my heart is still trying to mend itself back together. Weatherford really took me on a spin in this book; every emotion seeped out of me. The first ¾ of the book is amazing. I loved Chase and his stupid, cocky attitude and how he was so determined to get Nikki to just say yes to one date. That was all he wanted and he worked hard to get that yes. A ‘yes’ turned into a little more and you get to see each character open up about their past. And then this whole, beautiful relationship bloomed. Weatherford picked me up and took me on a ride with their love for each other and how they were absolutely perfect for on another. And then it happened… It is the struggle of real life; nothing is fair. Nothing works out the way we hope it will. But with this dark turn, Weatherford had the chance to make the character Chase stronger and a better man. And in the end, that is all Nikki longed for. I am excited about the sequel to Chasing Nikki. I have some predictions that I hope comes true. ~BookWhisperer Reviewer MC~

For me, this book gives me everything I want in a contemp. A bad boy, good girl love. A love that grows so strong, it hurts. And enough of true love to last you a lifetime. What I enjoyed the most about this book is the characters. Yes, it's your typical bad boy-good girl scenario but who can resist that? I love that the characters did much growth in the book. They both found love where they least expected it and it hit them in the heart fast. They both change for the better and have truly know whats it like to love someone. Next, the plot. Filled with a mixture of funny remarks and fluffy statements, I found that I could not stop smiling! I loved every bit of cheek flushing as well as the heart felt statements made. Once the reader falls into the plot, the reader will find themselves invested in the characters and plot fast. Ms. Weatherford makes it easy to love both characters. If you love a book with an outstanding plot line and a good love read this book! I enjoyed it so much and can't wait to read the second book. Chasing Nikki shows a real love that we all want to find. Sparking the magic in true love, Chasing Nikki rocks!

Chase Walker does pretty much all the teenage "rebellious" or coping stuff. Drugs, sex and worse? Getting arrested. When things got a turn for the worst, his mom packed them up to move to his grandfather's old ranch. Since he never liked spending time there so he figured this was his personal hell, he was bent to just deal with it the same way he dealt with things back to where he came from. He never saw this an opportunity that will change his life until....Lovable Nikki Wagner comes into the story. A warm soul tainted with old heartbreak. Of course, he was attracted to her but she sworn off of "guys like him". Macho football players and when I mean players, yes, playing THAT other side of the field. Chase saw Nikki as a challenge and if anything, Chase Walker never backed down from a challenge so then there comes operation Chasing Nikki....Although, the "chase" was pretty cute, I'm glad it didn't last too long and that Nikki wasn't playing the hard-to-get role to keep things interesting. She was just her, and when she isn't ready for anything more than what she can give, she doesn't. That made me love her character! I must say, the pacing was perfect. If I didn't know better I might have mistaken this novel was written by Nicholas Sparks. Sigh... seeing the beauty of first love and all that jazz you know? Lacey Weatherford really did a number with this! It's a fluffy read but none to be taken lightly at all! The book does have a shocking factor. I honestly don't know how I feel about the epilogue though, maybe it was too sudden for me. I kind of didn't like it but I'm glad things worked about our Chase Walker.I loved Nikki's character. She's certainly a reminder of people that surrounds us and the simple little things in life that we take for granted. Especially when you've envisioned them as forever. My heart was hurting for Chase the whole way through his experience. Especially his visit to her Grandmother ALONE and the letter... oh the letter... I literally sobbed with him on that one. This novel is simple enough but it's pretty potent if you ask me. Somehow, I feel enlightened after I read this. I can't wait to read how he got to where he is on the epilogue on the sequel, Finding Chase!

The lingo and words/phrases they know are trying way to hard to be cool especially with the fact that no one says them anymore. I found more a than a few grammatical errors, and i feel like chase's depressions and feelings can be a bit forced and really not very realistic to an actual teenager struggling with these things. I should know. Aside from all that, fhe story was great. But the characters really werent very unique or likeable. I started reading this at midnight and now its four am. I started crying without even realising it, i think its similar to the fault in our stars. This one just not as overrated.
