Overview

Chasing The Undisputed Crown by Anton Shapiro

This is an in depth history of the fight game that follows the tortuous route to the strongest claim of the heavyweight title.
From the bare knuckle brawls of John L. Sullivan through to Jack Johnson, whose attempt to break the racial barriers ended in race riots.
To the tough as nails Jack Dempsey, who created the first million dollar gate. To Joe Louis, Marciano and Muhammad Ali.
To Mike Tyson, whose namesake, Tyson Fury, holds the strongest claim to the title today.
This book is a must for anyone who loves the fight game and respects its turbulent history.
