Megumi, a nine-year-old martial arts enthusiast and all around rapscallion always wanted to be, "the manliest man on Earth." After saving a sorcerer from a group of local toughs, Megumi is presented with a magic genie which can grant any wish. Unfortunately, this genie misconstrues Megumi's desire as wanting to become the, "womanliest woman on Earth," and in a flash, Megumi's Y chromosome is swapped for an X. Six years later...Megumi is the hottest girl in school, but has stayed true to his/her tough talkin', punk stompin' ways. If that's not enough, Genzo, the baddest dude in town, is smitten by Megumi's womanly wiles...

This manga was creepy and awesomez and the same time!! Meg was a guy and then this creepy little doll thing came out of a book. And Meg wanted to be the manlist man to ever walk the earth,(I just finished the book today) and it turned him into a girl,(stupid doll! hehe!!) Whell, 6 years later, she goes to a new high school and all the guys are crawling all over her! and 3 guys create the Meguimi Musketeeres*creepy* and soga, a 'thug' as they put it, is like a stalker, and stalks her. and of course she beats him up, then she jumps out a window. i don't want to give away the whole thing so i'll shut up now before i start reciting the book!
A 9 year old boy Megumi asked a genie to become the manliest man alive and is now the womanliest woman alive. Now he/she is 15 and is haveing several guys totally crushing on her. She's the hottest thing on legs and is wanted by anything that moves, male or female, but what does she want...to be a man again. Cool story. It's a got 2 read.
I love this new manga. I usually don't buy manga or read them occasionally, but I went to a bookstore yesterday and I found the best book ever! Cheeky Angel is probably the most funny and hilarious manga I have ever read in the past. Not Inuyasha, or Ranma 1/2 can possibly sum up to this funny, breathtaking story. I recommend this to anybody who loves martial arts and funny manga. I also congratulate Hiroyuki Nishimori for doing such a wonderful job. You rock!
