Two all-new novellas that cross the boundaries of desire.

Exiled by Maya Banks…Enticed to the island paradise where an enigmatic prince is living in exile, beautiful, virginal Talia is introduced to a world of forbidden pleasure where the prince’s every whim is fulfilled and her fantasies are rendered in exquisite detail. But when the prince is summoned back to fulfill his duty to his struggling country, reality is thrust upon Talia all too soon. She returns home, heartbroken, convinced she was a passing fancy for an idle ruler and his most trusted men. Until the day they arrive on her doorstep, determined to have her back where she belongs.

Sway by Lauren Dane…Levi Warner is an established, older man—wealthy, powerful, and above all, respectable. Then Levi meets Daisy, an uninhibited 24-year-old dance instructor and artist, not exactly the kind of woman Levi is accustomed to. But the young, free spirit, brings out something in him he only experienced in fantasies. When their scorching affair turns into something unexpectedly deeper, Levi finds himself torn between preserving his reputation, and exploring a wilder and much more satisfying kind of life.

Cherished was absolute perfection! One very vulnerable girl and four very dominant men! That fantasy just doesn't get any better for me. Talia is the perfect blend of honest innocence without coming across childish. I cant choose between Xander, Gavon, Sebastian or Nico! Maya has a way of developing her characters so you truly care about them and want them to all have the HEA. OH and the sex scenes...Damn! To the reviewer that accuses lover's of these types of books to be condoning rape...I am truly sorry for what you have gone through and continue to go through. The fantacy of dominance is NOT the same as rape! I wish you could have chosen a different forum for your argument.

Both of the stories in this book were wonderful! They were distinctive, so it was definitely like getting two books in one! As usual, these two authors did not disappoint! They are the best! Maya, my husband thanks you! Lauren, he'll benefit from your story tomorrow!

I enjoyed Talia. She wasn't a pushover. Good read. To the reviewer with regards to rape - please understand that erotic fantasy and rape are two different things. The key is safe and with permission. I agree with previous poster.

I seen several.comments about this book making "rape" a good thing. I read the book cover to cover and never did i read anything about someone being taken by force. Some of the sex was unconventional, but no one was forced. Some people apparently need to understand is that is when someone is forced, against their well. Rape is NOT unconventional sex that some odf us may not understand.

I enjoyed both novellas - no missing pages in my e-book. Usually novellas feel rushed and like you are skimming the world the author created. I did not feel that way with either one in this book. Maya's novella created a stand-alone escape to a tropical island and Lauren Dane's is a great starting point to her new series.

Good read! I don't know how rape got brought into the discussion in the reviews, but everything in here is consensual. I loved the Lauren Dane side of the book. The Maya Banks side was good as well, but I'm not a huge fan of how Talia gets to do absolutely nothing (like not even put on her own lotion) because she has 4 men to cater to her every whim. Two men with one woman is good, but three is a bit of a crowd, and 4 just makes me wonder where everybody is going to go.

This book like all her others was captivating and sweet. The bond between friends and the growing love felt in each of her stories lifts you up. The steamy scenes make it even better. I look forward to seeing her works and have reread the ones I own many many times.

Title: Cherished Authors: Maya Banks and Lauren Dane Series: Delicious # 1 Publisher: Insatiable Press Limited Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: 4.5 Reviews: (two) What I liked from Maya Bank's story.....Exiled Story Rating: 4 Hero's Rating: 5 Heroine Rating: 4 Romance Rating: 4 Heat Rating: 5 Imagination: 5 Ending: 4 Narrator Rating: 4 Overall Rating: 4 'Exiled' was one interesting story featuring Talia, Prince Alexander[Xander] and his most trusted friends.' This is a real BDSM theme and this author gives the reader a very intriguing read where the heroine feels that she has to take care of a debt to Prince Alexander. Will Tia be able to fulfill this obligation? Be ready for some real interesting characters that in the end will give the read some 'passion, love and oh yes some raw sexuality.' This story plot was really something to take in and wanting to tell it so, I will say you will have to pick up this read for yourself to see how this will all come out if for not other reason than to check out those steamy scenes that this author know how to give her readers. next.... we have Lauren Dane's story....Sway Story Rating: 5 Hero's Rating: 5 Heroine Rating: 5 Romance Rating: 5 Heat Rating: 5 Imagination: 5 Ending: 5 Narrator Rating: 5 Overall Rating: 5 'Sway'... was my favorite novella's of the two reads. I really enjoyed this author's perception of a sweet story of a younger woman with a older man. I liked this story of Levi and Daisy and I found most of the characters to be well developed, well portrayed and believable giving the reader a interesting and captivating read that will keep your attention till the end. I thought that this plot was very realistic and in the end the reader is given a sweet sexy read. Be ready for some erotic dominate scenes.

Cherished is a 2 for 1 book, the first story in the book is by Maya Banks called Exiled. This book was awesome!!!! I loved the story it is a true fairy tale come true with an exotic twist. The prince in the story is Xander and he is all that and a bag of chips. He's strong but gentle and he adores his princess more than anything else in his life. The princess is Talia a virgin that he fell in love with when she was too young so he waited until she was old enough to become his everything. Talia is all joy and light, she is naive and wants nothing more than to please her prince. And please him she does!!! The 2nd story in this 2 for 1 is Sway by Lauren Dane. It is part of the Seattle Brown series. It is the story of Levi and Daisy. Levi is older (40) and Daisy is a mature (24). Levi falls into lust with her on site but he is holding a long ago pain that has hardened his heart to accept love again. Daisy is an all in kinda girl. She is loyal to her friends and gives more of herself than she really should. She is spread thin working several jobs and filling in for her friends whenever and wherever they need her but for Levi she will do anything to see him. Daisy is a free spirit with tattoos and a mexican heritage, Levi comes from a stiff upper class family that he thinks would be appalled at her so he holds himself back. In the end their love is too strong to keep them apart, come what may and Daisy shows Levi that she can thrive in his world just fine. I loved both of these stories so much I would love to give them a higher than 5 star. They were off the charts for me. This is a must read if you are a fan of erotic romance.

I picked up this book because I was really interested in the second story in the book, Sway. However, I only ended up finishing the first story (Exiled by Maya Banks).   EXILED (3 stars): Exiled is the reason this book is getting two stars, otherwise it would only get one.  Exiled by itself is about three stars for me. The story was ok, a bit far-fetched, but still ok.  My problems with it was the dynamics in the book didn't really make a lot of sense for me.  Xander is the exiled prince of a small country and with him are his 3 trusted friends/guards.  These friends, we are told over and over again, are extremely loyal to Xander.  What isn't clear is why.  I saw their loyalty, but I didn't see much about Xander that would garner such loyalty.  Xander plays the alpha to their wolf-pack, but he comes off as a selfish jerk. Everything was about him, what he wanted, and the way he wanted it.  I could see why Talia would develop feelings for some of the other men, but I had no idea what any of them saw in Xander.  I had this overall sense that Xander was not only Domming Talia, but all of them. He shares Talia with them, but he retains this air of possession with her that gave me the sense that while sharing her with them she was ultimately his.  Did that mean the other men could pursue relationships of their own?  Was Talia free to fall in love with the other men?  Talia was confused about this in the book and so was I, right up to the very end. Talia and the other men truly serving at the pleasure of the prince.   SWAY (1 star): I didn't finish this story.  There wasn't any problem with the writing or story telling in my book over all.  I just didn't care for it. After the initial meet-cute of the two main characters, there next couple of scenes between the characters seemed a bit disjointed. There was also a lot of characters in this story introduced or reference that it became a bit confusing.  I haven't read anything by this author before, so I didn't care about, nor care to, meet all of the characters from previous books.  They didn't really add much to this story for me.  So, I did not get far in this book.  Maybe it was me, maybe I wasn't in the mood for a cast of characters. This story just did not hold my interest.
