The year is 1966. The swinging sixties. Mods and rockers are fighting on the beaches and girls are throwing their knickers at the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Jimmy Potter and his dad Billy have come home from Australia to watch England in the World Cup Final and Churchill Street is fluttering with flags and butting. But, once the match is over the euphoria is short lived. A grim discovery in the street soon leads to a murder investigation. One good copper is determined to find the perpetrator, so are the new kids in Churchill Street, but they have no idea of the danger they are putting themselves in. The lies just go on and on...
