A sweet Regency set romance from New York Times bestselling author Mary Blayney. A novella in the Braedon Family Series.

When her engagement ends abruptly, Caroline Morton leaves home for a position in France. Five years later she is back with a ten-year-old orphan in tow. Marguerite was her charge in France but is now the child of her heart. Nevertheless Caroline is determined to find Marguerites uncle in France and reunite them.

Marguerite has a better idea and is happily working on a way to make the man from Carolines past part of her present...and future. Caroline and surgeon Reynie Osgood are quite polite to each other, but nothing more, until Marguerite forces them to confront the past and a love that has never died.

Child of her Heart is the story of how Marguerite Voisson, the heroine of HIS LAST LOVER, came to England as a child. There she found a family to stand in for the one taken from her by war. This novella is part of the Braedon Family Series.

About the Author

Mary Blayneys first writing effort, at age 14, was a script for her favorite TV show. She has written ever since but did not discover until she was a grownup that people would correct your mistakes and then pay you for what you wrote.

In the years since she has written more than twenty novels. Her first were for contemporaries for Silhouette, including FATHER CHRISTMAS which is now available as an ebook.

The rest of her books are Regency set romances, including four novels and one novella in the Braedon Series (originally published by Kensington), five titles in the Pennistan Family Saga (published by Bantam) and eight novellas in anthologies that features a magic coin. Mary also published an original novella Playing for Keeps in the anthology ONCE AND FOREVER.

Mary believes that life is best lived with joy, love and a generous heart and it is those ideas she most wants to share with her readers.
