Childhood Sexual Assault Survivor: Psalms 25

From my youth, between the years (1981-1982) I was molested as a young boy, it took my life in a wrong direction far away from GOD. After being molested as a youth. My life was never the same. The molestation took my life onto a strange and dark pathway. It opened the door to bisexual relationships and poor heterosexual relationships. I tried desperately to make a comeback from this tragedy but I couldn't do it alone. It only led me to having sexual relations with prostitutes, and dope fiends. I even got involved with a lady who had (HIV) without knowing it. No, she didn't inform me of her (HIV) positive status. Rather, she chose to get involved with me knowing her chances of transmitting this incurable virus to me. She didn't reveal it to me like the law orders one to do so. (Psalms124:1)'' If It hadn't been the Lord on my side '' I would be one of her victims too. '' But GOD ''! Trying desperately to find love in all the wrong places. I continued to trust in bad relationships and trying to seek for love in them. Until I found Jesus Christ in( 2006) It was at my lowest point, in prison I asked the LORD Jesus Christ to deliver me from being bisexual. Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost delivered me from this demon. I gave my life to Jesus Christ and I forgave the person for molesting me as a child; and, thereby, I forgave myself. Jesus Christ taught me to forgive the person who molested me. Because I couldn't do it on my own. Even after I forgave the person for molesting me. I had to forgive myself. It was even more difficult to forgive myself: although, God has given me the power to forgive all my hurts and pains. Now facing, disgrace, embarrassment and shame I'm learning to trust Jesus Christ to restore and redeem me from all my hurts and pains. God will work it all out for his own good, if we trust him to do so. (Romans 8:28)
