Children Growing Funny by Kevin Clark

Kevin has masterfully re-created many of the conversations he shared with his two sons while raising them as a single parent. Children Growing Funny casts a reflection of all children and how they view the world as they journey from toddler through adolescence. Through Kevin's writing it is easy to see our own children's wit, and will most likely have you recording their funny phrases to present back to them as they make their journey through childhood. Kevin also shares the passion he has for his children through beautiful verse, which will often make you laugh and sometimes make you cry. Children Growing Funny is a book to share with any parent or grandparent and will have them laughing and remembering some of the experiences that they hold dear to them. This is truly a book that will transcend generations.

'Children Growing Funny a collection of poems and quotes' by Kevin Clark is a book that any parent or grandparent can embrace! Once you pick up this book of poems and short stories that entertain you by letting you peek into the life and heart of Father/Single parent, Kevin Clark, and his world and love, his two boys, you will never want to put it down. Kevin tells his story of his two children, how he ends up raising them alone, and the everyday funnies that come out of their mouths in the form of poems and short stories that are compiled in a beautiful manner. As soon as I started reading this book I realized that I would not be able to put it down until I had read it all. This book had me rolling with laughter until tears were rolling down my cheeks. As a mother of young children I could relate in everyway to the words that were so well written. 'Children Growing Funny' is a must read! I can only hope there will be a sequal. C.J. I enjoyed this short read shared about the innocence of children. The author gave me new ideas and a reason to write down the things my young children say.
