Overview

Ten years ago, Emperor TaSherion and his wife were murdered by a traitor. Their five children were taken by loyal friends and scattered across the galaxy, their memories wiped to protect them. Parts of their father's plan for an unfinished secret weapon have been microchipped and implanted in each sibling. An invasion by the reptilian Crogians sets into motion a series of events that forces one of the children to regain her knowledge of the past. Min, working as a lowly servant in a space-gladiator complex, escapes the attack with one of the gladiators named Ruffian, and together they race across space hunting down her remaining siblings. Now, it's up to these children of the empire to restore their father's secret weapon, and lead the rebellion before the Crogians complete their evil plan to destroy humanity

About the Author

Lara Nance grew up and lived in many cities throughout the South. She loves to write in a variety of genres, but the basis of all her stories is a tale that will entertain and intrigue.
She has a BS in Business from UNC Chapel Hill, a BS in Nursing from VCU, and a Masters in Nursing from VCU. She worked in marketing management for around 20 years, then went back to school and became a nurse practitioner for 10 years. She's currently a full-time author/artist.
Her first novel, Memories of Murder, won RWA's New England Chapter's readers' choice award in 2012 for Best Paranormal Romance, as well as an award of merit as Best Book from a Virginia Author in the Holt Medallion contest. In 2013, her novel DraculaVille - Discovery in New York, won the Rudy award for best novel with romantic elements.
Currently traveling on her sailboat, Lara spends time reading, of course writing, indulging a variety of artistic endeavors, cooking and sailing with her husband, Joe and their Yorkies, Belle and Bruno.
