Baa Baa Black Sheep, have you any…songs? Children love to sing and be sung to, and these perennial tunes are always tops on the kids’ hit parade. Little ones will love the repertory that includes “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad,” “Pop Goes the Weasel,” and “Row, Row, Row your Boat.” And some—like “Itsy Bitsy Spider,” “Pat-a-Cake,” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It” are more than just fun: they develop physical dexterity and teach parts of the body. All the songs are great for entertaining restless youngsters on car trips, during play dates, or on a rainy day.

I really like this book. It has very durable textured pages with nice "old fashioned" illustrations of the songs and rhymes. I used to hear most of these songs myself as a child, and I sang a lot of them to my daughter and son. Now I get to use this book to read and sing with my baby grandson and amazingly he "pays attention" as much as a baby can, while we look at it together. I am really glad I found it.
This book is a sure treasury of songs to sing with any child. From the moment we got the book it's been my daughter's absolute favorite. She loves to sing and dance to it so much that we have to hide it on her from time to time (when we get tired of singing). It's a wonderful book for sharing quality time. The pages are full of color, sturdy and have raised pictures that make it fun for little fingers to touch.
