I have been following CCK's blog on-line now for about three years. Some of the recepies are new in the cookbook and a few are old favorites that she is famous for, such as the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pie. I have made just about everything on the blog and many recepies in this cookbook too, though I just got it mid-january. I have bought four copies so far. One for myself, two for my friends and one for my Quaker Meeting. I bring these items as snacks for the meeting and not only does everyone love the recepies, but they have been asking me for the ingredients for the past year! They always wonder what creative dish I will bring next Sunday. I like just about everything I have made from CCK. My favorites are the Black Bean Brownies, The Applepie Muffins (though I subbed one egg for the flax seed), Homemade Dairy Free Milk, The various ice creams, the pumpkin bread, banana bread and of course the Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie. If you enjoy cooking with alternative ingredients then you will love this cookbook.
