Patty Devlin has given us a very realistic look at the emotional struggle of a new wife submitting to a domestic discipline marriage. The hero, Gabe, is an ideal head of household - loving but firm. He metes out punishment with logic, thought and love. Jessie struggles with being told what to do and rebels against his authority, but comes to grip with the relationship by the end. This book has just the right balance of love, tenderness and dominance - a very enjoyable read. I look forward to reading Part 2 and 3!

This is a very good book about a couple in a DD relationship and the wife not really sure if that is what she really wants. It would have been better if they had discussed the rules and the consequences of breaking said rules before they got married. That way it wouldn't have come as such a shock to Jessica. But other than that Gabe was a very good dominate husband who loved his wife and wanted to make their work unlike all their friends marriages. Jessica was definitly willful and hard headed and deserved every spanking she got. This was a really good story over all.

Choices by Patty Devlin is an enjoyable story about a couple in the early stages of a domestic discipline marriage. Jessie loves her husband, Gabe, very much, but she has a hard time following many of his rules, particularly those related to her safety. She's a little bratty, but not over the top, and this book is more about a wife charging too much on her credit cards and getting spanked for it. Choices runs much deeper than that and I was pleased by how realistic the story felt. I also thought Gabe was a great hero, loving but stern with no tolerance for a wife who puts her safety at risk. I look forward to Choices 2 and 3!
