Christie's Old Organ is a moving tale of a journey from despair to hope that still resonates today. it is a Christian classic, originally published in 1874, by the British author Amy Catherine Walton, better known as Mrs O.F. Walton. It is the story of a poor, young orphan, Christie, and an ill, old man, Treffy. Christie and Treffy live in the attic of a lodging-house. Old Treffy owns a barrel organ and Christie loves the music, especially the song, "Home Sweet Home". Together they look after each other. Through the friendship of a little girl called Mabel and meetings in a mission room, Christie and Old Treffy are introduced to the joy of having Jesus as their Saviour.
