Interviews

When I was around the age of 10, my sister Kendra and I tried to convince our parents to let us open at least one gift early. “Instead of opening all of our gifts Christmas Eve, why can't we open one on Christmas Adam?” Was the plea we attempted to make.
Long story short, because Adam was created to have a relationship or “friendship” with God, it became a tradition of celebrating friendships. This was always the day I would give my friends their Christmas gifts and Kendra and I would exchange our gifts from each other. Over a decade later Phil and I began to have children and we knew we wanted to continue this precious day of celebrating God given friendship. It was a holiday we shared with all of our friends, and so many of our friends celebrate this day.
Finally 26+ years later for my kids, my friends, and Kendra, I did it… I had our story published. My dear friend Jill Hamilton pushed me to do this years ago and I so wish she was here to see it.
