Ami and Beck would rather forget the past, but this Christmas of love is one to remember.
Amaryllis “Ami” Bloom’s cheerful smile greets everyone in Good Hope, Wisconsin. But her merry facade hides a dark secret she won’t ever forget. Still, she throws herself into celebrating Christmas—and convinces her handsome, and stubborn, new neighbor to join her.
Beckett Cross, however, is determined not to celebrate the holidays. He moved to Good Hope to leave behind reminders of how he’d had it all…and lost everything. But it’s hard to resist the adorable Ami, the designated keeper of the small town’s holiday traditions, when she asks for help with the Twelve Nights celebration. And Ami has a hard time resisting Beck’s soft Southern drawl and gentle eyes. Will a Christmas miracle give them a second chance at love and the hope to heal both of their hearts for good?

Anyone looking for a very Christmas-y holiday read with just the perfect amount of romance and hotness, must read this book!!! I loved it. Had never read anything from Cindy Kirk before but I will be in the future. She writes lovable characters and storylines, and a small town called Good Hope in snowy Wisconsin that is cozy and enchanting! Ami and Beck have a lot to work through in terms of their pasts and the ability to move forward, but most of it was kept under the surface until the end. Beck is struggling with the tragic death of his wife and unborn baby. Ami feels guilt over an accident that happened many years prior. The two come together for some holiday traditions in the town and before long Beck realizes there are more to his feelings for Ami other than her charm and delicious baked goods. It helps that Ami's bakery and Beck's cafe are right next door and Ami needs an additional part time job for the holidays. Beck is there to give her a position as a temporary cook. The ending was everything I hoped as I read along. I will be reading more in this series when they come out!
