The Christmas Twins by Tina Leonard

Jessica Tomball Farnsworth has never seen a cowboy before, so is quite unprepared for her strong physical reaction to him. And when her little indiscretion results in a baby—make that babies—she's more than a little overwhelmed.

Zach Forrester has always been a bit of a wild one, but the ladies of the Tulips Saloon finally see their opportunity to make him settle down for good.

So with some prodding from the gentle matchmakers, it looks as if the people of Tulips, Texas, might achieve their goal of growing the town one—make that two—babies at a time.

This was an okay book. The main characters (Zach&Jessica) meet each other on a road and have sex almost right away. The plot takes and unconvincing turn when Zach right after having sex finds out that they might have created a baby, tells Jessica that she is coming home with him. Jessica some how finds this undangerous, and hands over the keys to her car. She then jumps in his truck! Okay, BACK THAT TRUCK UP...what woman in her right mind would agree to jumping in a strangers truck after he tells her that he wont let her leave. Red light flashing here. All in all, the author managed some witty dialogue and a belivable ending.

In Tulip, Texas, Jessica Tomball Farnsworth and Zach Forrester meet and are instantly attracted to one another. Neither can resist what they feel for one another and soon they make love as if there will be no tomorrow. Several mornings after, Jessica learns she is pregnant and will give birth to twins in the spring.--------------- The Ladies of the Tulips Saloon see a chance to tie down the wild Zach as they feel Jessica and the unborn twins are good for him and for the town that needs the next generation if it is to survive. However, though he wants to give something back to the town like building a new school, he does not want it to be a family though he plans to do right by his offspring. Still with a horde of matchmakers on the prowl, Zach has no chance to escape unless an even more reluctant Jessica continues to object to marrying him.--------------- THE CHRISTMAS TWINS is an amusing contemporary romance starring a likable couple in which neither wants to get married although the attraction is strong and the unborn quite a catalyst. The eccentric townsfolk, including his father, play matchmaker tossing the lead pair together while her parents have cardiac arrest when they learn their daughter is pregnant. Tina Leonard writes a lighthearted Texas tale in which a band of wily matchmakers tiptoe through the Tulips of Texas.------------------- Harriet Klausner
