Oh.my.goodness. Lisa Harris starts this story off with a bang! Literally. The heroine, Tory Faraday, is being transported to court by two FBI agents so she can testify against a murderer when the car is ambushed and she hits her head when the car wrecks. And now she can’t remember anything. Not why she was in the car. Not that she’d witnessed a murder. Nada. She isn’t sure she should trust Griffin O’Callaghan, even if he says he’s a deputy sheriff. Griffin rescues Tory and is assigned as her bodyguard until the FBI can arrive. Timber Hills is hit by the snowstorm of the century and the FBI can’t reach them, while the man trying to kill Tory slipped into town before the storm hit. This is an exciting cat and mouse game as the bad guys seem to be one step ahead of Griffin and Tory. I literally couldn’t put the book down because just when I would think I had it figured out, a new twist would take the story in a different direction. I started the book just before I went to bed and finished it that night. If you like fast-paced action with plenty of suspense, you’ll love this book.

“Christmas Witness Pursuit” by Lisa Harris was a great read! This is a very quick, easy to read thriller. I finished it in two days! Lisa Harris continues to be one of my favorite Christian, romantic, suspense authors. She never fails to disappoint me! This book centers around Tory and Griffin. Tory has amnesia, but finally figures out that she is in the witness protection program. Griffin is a deputy who ends up being assigned to keep Tory safe. Meanwhile there is a blizzard and the criminals all happening at once. There is non-stop action and some twists and turns along the way. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys good, clean, romantic, suspense fiction! I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.

Lisa Harris has become one of those "MUST READ" authors for me. Her romantic suspense is top notch, always, and Christmas Witness Pursuit is off the charts for the suspense it creates. The only thing Tory Faraday knows when she wakes up is her head hurts. She can't remember her name, or why she's in the backseat of a car with two men in suits in the front, but when one takes a bullet as he gets out of the car and the other tells her to run, she doesn't stop to ask questions. She runs! When Deputy Griffin O'Callaghan comes upon an accident, he's stunned to discover two dead FBI agents and a woman's scarf in the car's backseat. A file in the front seat tells Griffin that the agents were transporting a witness. The two motorcycles parked along the road tell an ominous story. An expert tracker, Griffin follows the signs and tracks the woman down. As they get to his car, bullets start to fly. Can he keep her safe if the FBI couldn't? Wow! Every time I thought these two finally eluded the criminal that was after Tory, something happened to put her back in danger. The book has more screaming twists than a great rollercoaster ride. If you love romantic suspense, heavy on the suspense, Christmas Witness Pursuit would be a great choice! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author but every opinion here is MINE!

HIGH ANXIETY Author Lisa Harris always takes her readers on a grand adventure when they choose to read one of her books. Her latest release, CHRISTMAS WITNESS PURSUIT, will take readers to new heights of High Anxiety as they are drawn into this masterpiece of a mystery! Plan to stay up late reading this one! Tory Faraday comes to with her head pounding, her body broken & bruised in the back of a car and aware someone in the front seat is screaming at her to run for her life. At that particular moment, she doesn’t know her name, where she is or why she needs to run but since the man who told her has been shot, she does her best to run. That’s just a microscopic view of the story! The best thing Tory has going for her is Deputy Griffin O’Callaghan has made her plight his duty. He’s not your ordinary deputy by any stretch of the word! It’s a good thing because they aren’t dealing with a normal killer. His plan is to kill Tory regardless of whatever protection she is provided. Can the Deputy outsmart the killer even in the midst of one of the worst snowstorms in years? Will Tory & Griffin learn to trust each other to work together to defeat the killer? I was provided a complimentary copy of this book by the author. The opinions expressed here are completely my own and without influence.

Tory Faraday is a crucial witness to a murder and is being guarded by the FBI when their vehicle is attacked. Both agents are killed; Tory escapes, but due a head injury she is amnesic. Deputy Griffin O'Callaghan finds her and immediately tries to ensure her safety, but even at his family's ranch in a blizzard, danger lurks nearby. There is an inside leak, but who know where the leak is? Tory feels like she is protecting someone but cannot remember who it is and now fears she is putting Griffin and his family in jeopardy. The danger escalates as Tory begins to recover her memory and an escaped prisoner wants her permanently silenced. This is a fast-paced, suspenseful and also romantic novel with a clean, well-developed plot which I thoroughly enjoyed. I received an ARC in exchange for a review.

What do you do when you regain consciousness after an auto accident to discover someone is shooting at a person outside the car, the driver is slumped behind the steering wheel, and you have no memory of who you are or why you are there? Then the driver arouses and tells you to run for your life. I cannot imagine being in that situation. I forgot to include that you don’t know where you are. So how can you hope to escape whoever is after you when everything is stacked against you. Where do you run? The suspense is thick and continuous throughout the story as the young lady seeks to remember who she is while the deputy and others work to keep her safe and to capture the people who are chasing her. Only one thing is abundantly clear: the man behind the attack places no value on the life of anyone other than himself. He proves that throughout the story. Will the lady regain her memory? Does she have a family, a home, a job, or anywhere to return to? I appreciate the faith element apparent through the story. I like the picture on the cover of the book, but even that raises questions in my mind. Is any place truly safe when you are being chased by a cold-blooded killer? I received an advance copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.
