This is a rendition of Cinderella about a witch who finds her Prince Charming in another witch who's dirty just like she is. It's a cute book, but I wasn't too enamored with it, and neither was my daughter. I didn't like the illustrations either. It had a good message of being true to yourself and only being with someone who loves you for you, but I just didn't feel like it was done very well.

Summary:This story was about two snobby witch stepsisters who always made fun of their sister Hazel. They said that all Hazel thought about was dirt. They did not want Hazel to go to the ball, she went anyway and met the prince.Personal Reaction:My personal reaction on this book is that it made me realize that you can do anything you want to do. Never let anyone tell you what you can not do.Classroom Extension:I would use this book to teach the children to compare Cinder Hazel to the traditional Cinderella story.
