About the Author

Publishing Circling the Heart has been a dream of mine for years. Loving someone who is unable to love you in return is one of the most painful things that can happen. Everyone has been there at some point in their life. Learning to live with the hurt and pain is difficult. Calypso grieves as we all do when we lose someone we love, but she makes the decision to allow herself to enjoy life again. I believe that when we give ourselves permission to be happy anything is possible.

Many nights were spent researching articles in an attempt to make this story as factually real as possible. Tidbits about dolphin, shark, and whale behavior are based on documented fact. Every shell, tree, flower or animal mentioned is native to the area. Calypso Deep is located in the eastern Mediterranean Sea and has an approximate depth of 17, 280 feet making it a wonderful setting for a fantasy tale!
Volume 2, Circling the Fire will be out sometime in the fall. This is the story of Circe the sea witch and picks up where Circling the Heart ends.
