I found this classic mystery a nice read especially since it was free. If you enjoy a cozy mystery along the lines of Agatha Christie you may very well enjoy this.

Every mystery lover should read this classic tale of a spinster who rent s a house for the summer and strange things happen. This is one of the best examples of the "Had I but known....." genre of mystery.

This is a very poorly scanned edition of this book. Google should be ashamed to have their name on it. This is only the second book I've seen from the Google digital scan program and if they are examples of the quality of the rest of the project then it was a huge waste of effort. Barnes and Nobles, shame on you for offerring this trash.

I quite liked it. I found it refreshing and not without suspense.

This is the story of a woman who rents a summer home and falls into a big family mystery. It starts out seeming like a ghost story, but ends up being a messy family intrigue-plot. A good book to read on the subway, but not one I'd recommend to friends. Also, be aware that 3-4 times in the book she uses some then-acceptable now-grossly-offensive terms for African-Americans.
