On her wedding day Hannah is having serious doubts. She doesn't love the groom, but the man who's supposed to give her away, Blake. Blake loves Hannah, but he's not one to commit. Add a seriously ill single mother-of-the-bride and an illness that compels the bride to marry soon in order to have legitimate children thus avoiding the censure her mother endured. One flaw with the story is the concept of marriage for a green card. This is why many say the groom wants to marry Hannah. The marriage must be valid to be granted a green card.
