***This is a steamy stand alone novella set in the world of the Isabella Howerton Series.***

I read this novella in a collection that was published a while back, it was fantastic! I have read all of Hysell's books and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. The novella here saw the return of my absolute favorite (not to mention yummiest...) character and my only complaint is that there isn't more of it. Her novels are usually on the darker side of urban fantasy with some pretty heavy themes, this story was still heavy but had a much lighter, more humorous tone to it. It was definitely a change from the novels, but a fun one that made a lot of sense with the characters involved. I can't wait to read more from this author.
