Enjoyed Kelly Barnhill's story "The Taxidermist's Wife." Didn't enjoy A.C. Wise's the "Children of Main Street" as 1) I thought it has been done before (Bradbury, a martian story) and 2) animals that do change sexes don't usually have sexual dimorphism . . . Did enjoy both non-fiction pieces: I've now added Theodora Goss to my list of must reads. Liked the linked footnotes in the other piece, though I'd like the "Back" button at the top of the page to linger more. (I realize that's more a function of the Nook's software.) Overall, I liked this issue of Clarkesworld more than a recent issue of Asimov's.
