Classic Life is a pictorial history of some of the most well-known and least-known Historically Black College and University Classic Football games.

Travel across the country the Meadowlands to Dallas into the center of the hard-hitting action, musical halftime performances, and special guests from the diaspora.

Morgan State alumnus Jason McDonald has devoted over 30 years of his life documenting HBCU sports.

He has captured defining moments such as the first MEAC-SWAC Challenge, the 75th Magic City Classic and the first nine Celebration Bowls.

About the Author

Jason McDonald is a seasoned photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been named by PhotoShelter as a Black Sports Photographer You Need to Follow Right Now. He has captured images at the U.S. Track and Field (USATF) Olympic Trials, USATF National Championships, Major League Baseball, National Football League Super Bowls, numerous college post-season bowl games, UFC Championship, NASCAR, AMA, Petit Le Mans, U.S. Open qualifiers, and National Basketball League playoffs. Showtime turned to him for pre-fight images of the Gervonta Davis - Yuriokis Gamboa WBA Lightweight Championship fight.

Throughout his professional career, Jason has served in a variety of capacities including a seven year stint as the content producer for Black America Web's HBCU Football channel.

He has photographed concerts, authors, television personalities, and more. Actor and comedian Chris Tucker enlisted him to photograph his New Year's Eve comedy show. His photos have appeared on numerous media guides, magazine covers, and broadcast news segments.
