Classic Space:1999: To Everything That Was: Selected Remastered Works based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
From the creative team who brought us the AMAZING "Aftershock and Awe" comes the newest addition to the "Space: 1999" universe. First off, let me say that this is a HEAVY book. Not philosophically (although there is a bit of that as well), but a very substantial book that's crammed cover-to-cover with excellent artwork and stories! "Space 1999: To Everything That Was" fills in the time between Year One and Year Two of the 1970's sci-fi epic (and carries a bit beyond Year Two), and does so by using a combination of a remastered version of the Charlton B&W comics and new, original artwork and stories to weave a narrative tapestry that manages to be deeper that the original show. On one hand, the stories are action/adventure at it's finest, but on the other, we get insight into the characters' thoughts and feelings by the use of personal logs. This adds a depth to the stories that aren't present in the televised series. For fans of the series, this will be a refreshing treat, and for those who aren't familiar with the show, it will be a GREAT introduction! Congratulations to Drew Gaska and his team!
