I love it! All the recipes in here are amazing, they have a salt water taffy recipe and they have a hot fudge recipe that is all i need!

It's nice to see some old time favorites - taffey, fudge, popcorn balls, divinity (although they didn't call it that)and gumdrops! Thanks for this great little cookbook. I enjoyed making the recipes!

Amazing little book

This does seem to be a "mom and pop" publication as there are several errors. It is a good little book to add to your recipe collection but not for the novice - you need to know what you're doing to recognize some of the errors. Although there are some easy ones to spot - like the missing ingreditent list for "Apricot Balls"!

I love Gooseberry Patch. I thought the recipes were simple. And can't wait to try them. I think my kids would like helping making some of these recipes too.

I think this is a very nice easy to follow cookbook. Their cookbooks are real easy to follow and very nice. I will be trying some of these if I ever get well enough to do so. I think they would be easy enough for a child to do. I learned a lot of new ideas and recipes.

I love gooseberry patch cookbooks and who can go wrong with a free one! This one has a lot of good candy recipes especially Becky's caramels! My favorite! I really like that there are recipes I can use in the microwave or on the stove. I can't wait for Christmas time again to try some more and give as gifts! I also like the section at the end about how to know the different stages of candy! It is a great book!

I didn't notice until another reviewer posted it, that the ingredient list for "Apricot Balls" is totally missing. That's a bummer. Perhaps it's on the Gooseberry Patch web site? Sorry, but I haven't been able to check as of yet. I can't vouch for all of the recipes, but I *have* tried "Kettle Corn" -- yummy!! I'm not a huge candy fan, but I do enjoy most of the Gooseberry Patch books. This one was worth it for the Kettle Corn recipe alone.
