i don't want to put any spoilers, but for a long time bsc fan like me this book helped tie up a few loose ends. while in my mind i think "Claudia's guy" should have ended up with Kristy, I'm glad he ended up with someone in the bsc.

I think Ann should make them grow up. A typical girl wouldn't learn. Girls go through stages that arent mention here. If they are 13 then they should learn how to act mature. Ann should show girls what goes on in a real 13 year old girls life. Not a fake.

These books are not realistic at all. They seem juvenile. The more I read these books, the more I wish Ann never stopped the regular BSC series. I miss all the old characters too. Ann needs to let all of them grow up and start acting like real kids their age if she cares abot keeping her old audience and attracting a new one.

I most certainlly enjoyed 'Claudia Gets Her Guy'. It was realistic and I'm glad to see that the teens in the stories are maturing. Claudia isn't so shallow on who she dates anymore. In fact, she's been having a crush on Jeremy (the new guy in school) for months, yet when it comes time to discover that she's actually FALLING in love, it isn't with a popular boy. (and certainlly not a guy you'd expect!) Great Job Ann! I'll continue to read 'Friends Forever'

This new series is just like the BSC books!! Ann M. Martin could have at least aged the characters. The only thing that changed really is that some members dropped out. I personally think that the BSC members lives are too perfect, it really hard to relate to them. Ann should have made the books a little more like the California Diaries (which I love) and give the girls problems that the readers can relate to. If anyone wants to discuss the books or any other books that I'd recommend, e-mail me at the above address.

While it's true that Ann might be making her chariters a little guy crazy, the general audenice for her books is enjoying her new realistic series. And they do show the issues of growing up in these books. That's what Friends Forever protays. The BSC is no longer the main focus of her stories. I know I'm enjoying these! This is way better then the Baby-sitters' Club! Can't wait till #7 comes out!
