I have read many early readers, but the Clifford series are the best for using simple easily sounded out words in a simple story.

bought the book for my 3 1/2 year old daughter and she really enjoys it. the only thing i would change is to have emily elizabeth and jetta mentioned along with clifford. other than that it is a good book.

My 5 year old loves many characters and Clifford included, so this was a great addition to his collection as he is just starting to read.

My children love Clifford and they read this book over and over again. They took it to school on Valentine's Day and the teachers loved this book too. It is an easy reader for those just learning to read. The illustrations are great and tell the story for those to little to read yet, so they can "read" this book all by themselves.

I like Clifford the best because Clifford's big. It is great. It is easy, it is a level G.
