When an army goes off to war, it brings with it the most advanced armaments available. Every soldier knows that without being well armed he is useless in the field of battle.
We know that as Christians we are in a battle (Eph. 6:10-18), and our young people need to be equipped to enter the fray. They may have trusted Jesus for salvation, but do they have the armor of God-the foundational biblical truths that can withstand the attacks of pagan scholarship?
Climbing for Roots has been carefully researched to provide a fresh presentation of the basic doctrines of Christian faith. Written for young Christians in easily understood text, the book discusses sin and salvation, moves on to explain relationships and responsibilities for the believer, and concludes with instruction on Christ and the Church. Climbing for Roots is an effective tool that can make a real difference in the lives of new believers.
