After thirty years of abuse Sarah has had enough, she's leaves her brutal husband and finds her way to Land's End where her cousin lives. Here she can start a new life, if her stalker will let her. S. W. Frontz has written an emotional story that left me devastated. I connected with these characters and I care what happens to them. The interaction and kindness of these people pulled me in. I liked Sarah. She's kind and has such an indomitable spirit. When she got a chance at love with Grae, I cheered. She deserves happiness with this good man. It was hard to see evil inflict such pain. Closer Than Yesterday is a story that shows the human spirit can triumph over darkness. Each book in the Land's End series is more addictive than the last. I love these characters and the setting. I can't wait to see what happens next.
