In the Shadow World, nothing is as it seems.

Detective Sydney Marr is having a very bad day. Her boss is on the warpath, she's being treated for a werewolf bite, and her current case has hit a dead end. When her friend Erika talks Syd into going with her to Club Beam, she jumps at the chance, even if it means spending an evening without her spell arsenal. A high-class vampire bar and fetish club, Club Beam is fantasy made real.

Club owner and Dom Gideon Raines spies the red-haired beauty and is transfixed. A fight against a skillful murderer brings war for fae and vampire alike. Sometimes when you play with monsters, the monsters play back.

About the Author

This book is dedicated to all of my readers. Writing under the Beyond Fairytales line and the creation of the Shadow World series was both fun and a challenge. When I was presented with the fairy tale "The Beam" I had to really think about how I wanted to portray the story. For those of you not familiar with the tale, it is a short piece about a woman who shows up a wizard and proves him to be a fraud. He gets his revenge in a very public way. How could I take this story and twist it into an urban fantasy setting and add a little kink to boot? I wanted a strong female character that could handle herself in a conflict, but still dealt with her own insecurities. Could she stand up to the opposing force in the story and somehow come out swinging? You bet.

Sydney is a fun and feisty heroine both witchy and quirky. Gideon is the perfect vampire alpha male Dom to curl her toes. Club Beam is a place of magic and mystery, where the Red Door overlooks the fun and frivolity of the main club floor. Fairy tales are for real here and some of them bite…and hard. The club is a refuge for vampire, fae and other mythical creatures; it is also a lure of many decadent delights.

I hope you will enjoy the introduction to my Shadow World series and return to Club Beam for many more adventures.

Erzabet Bishop's Club Beam is the start of a wonderful paranormal series set in Texas. Sydney is a cop and a witch who has been bitten by werewolf. She is on the hunt for a serial killer who is a vampire. She goes to Club Beam, a safe fetish club for all the different being. The club owner, Gideon, is super HOT. The twist of how Gideon and Syd contact is a wonderful read. I love the world Erzabet Bishop has created for this series. I can't wait for my next visit to Club Beam and with all the beings who attend. I was given this to read for a fair review. Thanks Erzabet Bishop & Good Writing

Fast-paced, action-packed and edge of your seat intriguing; Club Beam is set to have readers hounding the author for the next instalment in this exciting paranormal series. Witches, Vampires, Were and Fae all make an appearance in this first book, with some human involvement thrown in just to keep it interesting. Murder and Mayhem are definitely at the forefront of this story, as human women are slaughter by a rogue Vamp, with a somewhat political agenda. Fascinating character portrayals of both paranormals and humans give this story an added appeal and create a world where something is always happening, and the unexpected has become the norm. Ms Bishop has once again penned an amazing story that is over far too soon. I loved Club Beam and can’t wait to see what will happen in book two.

Vampires, witches, and weres, oh my! A delightfully naughty twist on the classic fairytale The Beam. I fell in love with Detective Sydney Marr instantly. Strong, determined, a little reckless, she has all the callings of a true heroine. The hero, Gideon, is all kinds of fangy dark temptation. Smexy, dangerous, commanding...yeah, all the good stuff you dream of in a man/vamp lover! What I loved most about this story was Syd's situation. I mean, really, not only is she dealing with a werewolf bite threatening to take her over, she is a witch by nature who must then deal with a homicidal maniac! Yikes! There are plenty of twists and turns along the way as the hero and heroine inevitably fall in love, while enjoying some smoking hot sex! I highly enjoyed this story. Erzabet has created a world where fantasy and magic exist in a believable sense, and I can't wait to read more about the Shadow World in the future.

Fantastic remake of an old classic... Decadent Publishing has a great series of stories retelling old fairy tales in an unlimited new ways. There have been several wonderful authors contributing to DP's vision. Here is the newest installment. Sydney is a sexy little witch with a badge and a secret. She howls at the moon. Her assignment is to infiltrate Club Beam to find out who is killing off witches and stop him from killing again. After a battle with a vampire, she has attracted the attention of an incubus Will she survive long enough to find the killer? Will her incubus be able to protect her while she stops an otherworldly creature and stops a war? Who is the silver haired Fae man and more importantly, will I make it through the book with out having a heart attack? (I did but only just, I highly suggest you find out the answer to the rest of these questions yourself!!) I thoroughly enjoyed this enchanted tale and not just because I adore Ms. Bishop. (its no secret I do but I assure you I am being honest!) The story had wonderful drama, action and suspense. There was mystery, intrigue, and of course the 4F's that she is best at, super steamy sex scenes. I was entangled in the story and had to read it beginning to end all at once. Just like potato chips, I was helpless to stop at just one, it was sooo good!!
