December 7, 1941, was a seminal date for young men and women associated with Concordia College, as well as those throughout the United States. As they heard the incredible news that Japan had bombed Pearl Harbor, they knew that they would be called to action and great sacrifice. After over sixty years, a handful of Cobbers tell of their experiences with amazing clarity, deep humility, and the benefit of time and perspective. Truly, they are examples of the Greatest Generation.
