Meet the Author

Andrea Pickens created her first book at the age of five—a neatly penciled story about cowboys—however she has since moved on from Westerns to writing about Regency England, a time and place that has captured her imagination ever since she opened the covers of Pride and Prejudice.

Set in an earlier century - this story is very well written and keeps you guessing right to the end. It is at least twice as long as you expect tho since most page numbers have at least 2 & sometimes 3 pages of text.... Well worth your time!!

170 page hysterical romance. A woman is the heroine. Everyone has a title. You know what to expect and ht is exactly what is delivered. No surprizes. Chick lit. 18 and up. Fast read. Contains mild violence and of course sex. AD

Best story i have read in a while

Very predictable plot. However, if you can ignore the missing words, misused words, POV characters that apparently can see their own facial expressions, and rapid and inexplicable point of view changes, it was worth what I paid (free) and the sacrifice of some of my personal time.

Good and quick read. Was what I expected. The missing and/or misused words caused the flow of words to be choppy; usually, i can look beyond that, but in this book it is frequent enough to cause distraction.

I enjoyed this historical romance. The plot and characters depth, along with the main characters relationship, was a sweet and slow build. I had a hard time putting the book down. 175 pages

Can't compare to Ms Heyer of course, but the characters, London society, intrepid heroine and misunderstood rake are all pleasantly familiar. And fun to see all her Regency slang in action.

Just a light read. Nothing stood out in that made me think it was different from any other romance in the time period. I did like how Earl of Branford followed his own code of honor and did not care what society thought of him for the most part.

I so enjoyed this book. It is set in England mid 1800's which is my favorite period. If you enjoy Victorian or Regency period English Romances with Earls and intellegent women and such, you will enjoy this. I recommend this
