Overview

It may be Winter Games, but the bedroom games are about to begin...

Competing in South Korea on the world stage is hard enough.

Having to spend the entire press tour beforehand with a woman who hates me?
Karma really is a bitch.

While she's spent the last four years loathing me, I've spent them ignoring the guilt that gnaws at my stomach.

All Mia Salter cares about is that I'm her brother's ex-best friend and it's her duty to hate me. The funny thing is, I barely noticed her back when she was trying to keep up with us on the slopes. Now, as both of us prepare to go for gold, I'm seeing her in a whole different light--and it involves a whole lotta different positions.

No one said the path to the Olympics would be easy.

This is the perfect book to kick off the Winter Games aka the Winter Olympics. Piper Rayne has once again given us a romantic comedy but this one in my opinion is more romantic.... Don't get me wrong we still have the take take Piper Rayne humor but I have a feeling it might be setting things up more for for Dex's book next. But I enjoyed Mia and Brady's story and can't wait for the next book.

I'm practically a broken record now because I'm always sharing the fact that I absolutely LOVE sports romances, but here I am again, admitting that fact. I love sports romances, and I have a serious soft spot for ones that tie in with the Olympics, Winter or Summer...doesn't matter. Some people like to read Christmas or Halloween stories around the holidays, well me...I like to get my Olympic fever going with a good ol' sports romance. When I saw that one of my favourite author duos, Piper Rayne, were writing a series of books revolving around Olympic snowboarders, I was super excited and I knew that I needed to read them...well, I've now read the first one and let me tell you, they did an amazing job! I absolutely loved COLD AS ICE! Grady and Mia were amazing characters. I loved their passion for snowboarding, I loved the tension between them, and I loved how Piper and Rayne uncovered the shared past between them. As soon as I started reading I didn't want to stop! The mix of tropes in this story was pretty interesting, and it definitely had me compelled! The majority of the story is told through Grady's POV and I loved that! He was cocky, but he was pretty damn endearing and had a hidden sweeter side that I loved getting to see. Mia was sooooo fierce, and I absolutely adored her! I loved how driven she was, and I loved seeing her relationship grow with Grady. They were seriously sexy together! I also loved their friends so much! I'm extremely excited for the two follow-up books in the Bedroom Games series...luckily they're being released every two weeks so we won't have to wait long! ;) COLD AS ICE was sexy, funny, and just an absolutely wonderful ride! If you’re looking for an awesome Winter Olympics romance this is definitely one worth reading! I adored Grady and Mia, and I loved that we got a prequel of their story at the end of the book, too. Now I can’t wait to read Dax and Demi’s story and I’m looking forward to some Grady and Mia cameos! ;) *I received a copy of COLD AS ICE to participate in the blog tour and give my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Funny my coworkers and I were just talking about the Olympics and here I have this book to read! And this is about the closest to Olympics as I like to get. And Grady is just too dang cute!! Yes, things happened between him and Mia and her brother years ago but they're all adults now - right? And Mia and Grady seem to be willing to look past that and realize that they truly like each other. Add in their crazy friends - who I hope will be appearing in more of the books - and you have quite a hilarious read!

A new series surrounded around the Winter Games. I'm already hooked on this series. Mia and Grady have a lot of history going way back. Life has thrown a wrench and now they forced to be near one another. This book has the humor I come to expect when reading a Piper Rayne book. Also one of my favorite things. I can't wait for more from this series because the set up for potential books has me very intrigued.

Thoroughly enjoyed this enemies to lovers, ex best friend’s little sister, and second chance at love romantic comedy! What a great concept staging this at the Winter Classic (also known as the Winter Games) and getting to experience love on the slopes. Grady Kale and Mia Salter have a long history. They grew up in the same town and Mia is four years younger than Grady and her brother Brandon, who she followed around and wanted to emulate. Mia and Grady are world class snowboarders that compete in the halfpipe. They are representing the US in the Winter Classic and both are chosen to go on a promo tour to promote the games. The problem? Four years ago, a tragedy happened and Mia blames Grady for it and she hates him. Grady feels guilt. They have to find a way to work together. Mia had a crush on Grady for years and Grady was more than attracted to Mia. You know the saying there is a fine line between love and hate. Lines are crossed. This was such a fun romp and I blew through it! I have never read a book about snowboarders or about Olympic athletes and this was such a great change from my usual sports romance. It held my attention entirely. There was of a great balance of snowboard action, steam and hilarity. There was great chemistry between Grady and Mia. The story is told in Grady’s POV with Mia’s POV in the epilogue. The secondary characters are awesome and provided a great set up for future books. I thoroughly enjoyed every page! Get ready for the Winter Games by picking up this new exciting series!

Cold As Ice is the newest in the Bedroom Games by Piper Rayne. You remember Grady from Choreplay? I loved Mia and her quirkiness and sass. Grady was self confident, but not a a*hole about it. This new series is going to rock it! I have been reading Piper Rayne for months now and I can never get enough! Cold As Ice was a great story and just in time to celebrate some Winter fun! Cold As Ice is a great new book to get lost into

Hot enough to melt the iciest of hearts. Duo authors Piper Rayne are gold star medal winners when it comes to writing their stories. From sexy bartenders to hunky single dads, now we have Olympic class sportsmen and women to while away a few exciting hours. The Bedroom series starts of with Cold As Ice, Grady and Mia’s story, a friends to lovers tale with a lot of angry altercations. Grady’s the reigning champion in the snowboarding section and is headed to the Winter Classics to defend his title. Mia, is new on the circuit and is the sister of Grady’s ex-best friend, Brandon She even used to have a crush on him, until something happened in the past that tore their friendships apart. Things get heated when Mia and Grady as forced to take part in a press tour. Grady struggles to keep his feeling in check, he felt guilty over the events from 4 years ago. Mia blames Grady for what happened when she was a teenager, but now she’s older… and wiser and spending time with him, just makes all her old feeling rise to the surface again. This was classic Piper story-telling. Hot guys, sassy females and heat you could run a kettle on. Steamy times and angsty fighting all make for a rousing read. Grab your winter gear and take a seat in a sleigh to read Cold As ice, I promise you won’t be freezing for long.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** What a hot start to this new series by Piper Rayne! This first installment in the Bedroom Games series is anything but icy! Grady Kale loves to win. He's one of the top snowboarders in the USA and he's competing for a coveted spot on the Winter Classics team where he'll compete for gold in South Korea. He's always had an edge to his craft and four years ago an accident took one of his main competitors, and his best friend, out of competition for good and Grady still reels from it. Mia Salter is the female equivalent of Grady. She's talented, driven and she's definitely caught Grady's eye. She too has qualified her way on to the Winter Classics team and is looking forward to competing for her country. She's got issues with Grady though and it looks like things might be ready to explode. When Grady and Mia are thrown together for a media tour, things get more than a little uncomfortable. Mia has been holding a grudge against Grady for many years and she's not ready to give in and Grady is fighting the attraction that has been there for equally as long. Are these two going to survive spending so much time together or will it be a total wipe-out? I loved Mia because she was not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for what she thought and believed. Grady was confident, yet troubled by what had happened in the past and I liked that he took responsibility for his part. The chemistry between Mia and Grady was fantastic and to say I'm excited for the next book is an understatement. There are definitely sparks flying in this series!!
