Overview

Eric Miller has a dilemma. He has seven years to make his company succeed so he can sell it and prove to his father he has what it takes to head the family business. Eric's two brothers are out to prove the same. Only one can inherit, and it doesn't look like it'll be Eric until he adopts a little black cat that changes his life.

Simone is willing to help in exchange for his complete obedience. Under her direction, Eric finds his desires shifting from running a company to a certain sex kitten whose purr drives him wild. The deadline is nearing, and Eric's time with Simone is about to end. He plans to find a way to make her stay... even if it's on his knees.

About the Author

Zenobia Renquist

Whether as D. Rene Bagby or Zenobia Renquist, Rene lives in her imagination. When not traveling through her fantasy worlds, she can be found in Maryland living with her husband and two cats.

She is an Air Force brat turned Air Force wife, which means she's accustomed to travel and does it whenever possible (so long as she doesn't have to fly). Her favorite pastime is torturing her characters on their way to happily-ever-after for the enjoyment of her readers.

On the few occasions her muse flees the scene of the crime, Rene likes to read (comics, manga, and romance), go to the movies, play a few levels of whichever puzzle game has hijacked her interest or experiment with a new chain mail weave.

"Renquist's characters are so lifelike and unique that reading her work is like watching a good movie unfold. You fall in love with her characters, you care about them, and that's what makes her writing so addictive." -- Sara Jay
