This book is a configuration of my inner thoughts and spirituality as I dealt with being bipolar and, later, being diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia.
After many trials and tribulations, I found, with the grace of God, a rehabilitation facility called Family Center for Recovery (FCFR), owned and operated by Dr. Robert Moran, a neuropsychologist, who took a renowned interest in my case. I’m forever grateful to him for my healing.
When I was in the process of putting together this book to publish, my beloved grandmother passed away after battling many ailments.
After finding some of her writings, we concluded that she also wrote beautiful poetry. I’m glad that because of my healing, I was able to spend quality time with her before her death. I, till this day, enjoy the fact that we both have a passion for writing. Her poems are now part of this book, as she was a big part of my life. A dedication to Florence Pica was written by her daughter, as her feelings were also expressed through poems.
I thank God for my healing, my spirituality, my talent, and my grandmother, who now resides with Jesus!

I turn away from others to look Straight into Your eyes,
You are the gentle breeze that lets my spirit rise above!
Yet now, I float back to my room,
One Last Thing, Jesus!
If I gave You my heart, Jesus, would You love me just the same?
Your shipmate? Your best friend?
And here I am now seated And speak and write Your name.
One more degree is death!
I am not low enough.
To glorify Your name!
They cannot know Your name!
A dove whose core is glad!
