Two years ago, I began collecting vintage tube radios - bidding for them on E-Bay. I bid for them on the basis of their age (as stated by the seller), condition and appearance. I didn't know there is a book available that contains photographs, manufacturers' names, identification numbers, years and estimated values. This book makes it possible for you to verify information stated by the seller and determine whether the price you're paying makes sense. The Collector's Guide is essential for any antique radio collector who wants to make intelligent and informed decisions. Aside from being practical, the book is very entertaining - it contains lots of great pictues of beautiful old radios.
This guide is good reference material for the beginner radio collector, but there are many models that cannot be found in this book.
