Color Me Cluttered: A Coloring Book to Transform Everyday Chaos into Art by Durell Godfrey

A coloring book for grown-ups, featuring the everyday clutter all around us.

For anyone who's enjoyed The Secret Garden, Outside the Lines, or any other coloring book that appeals to all ages, here's one with a twist. Durell Godfrey's intricate illustrations of the stuff in our busy lives - crowded kitchen tables, chaotic living rooms, and paper-strewn desks - are all ready to be brought to life with markers and crayons. Tidying up can be cathartic, but then again so can coloring. Color Me Cluttered offers a relaxing escape for pack rats and neat freaks alike. Just add color.

What fun! And more exciting than coloring in endless circles and patterns. This is the stuff of real life. The more you color, the more you discover. And yes it's nice to leave some items "blank" on the page. The choice is yours!

A charming book, full of real life scenes for you to play with color in. these are lived in rooms that are interesting and fun- lots of things to come across while you color in furniture or invent wall paper or a scene outside a window. intricate, but not repetitive like the pattern coloring books. colored pencils work best. consider mixing the colors or coloring with shadows- so much to do, and then you get to change the page and do another room- a great stress reliever, too.

When I found this I knew it would be fantastic and it is even more than I expected!! There are so many items to find and discover! Since chaos is an everyday factor in my busy life this allows me to focus on what color I want to use next and to find my inner creativity! You will not be disappointed in this book. Also, the author has kept the backside of each picture blank so colors won't fade onto the next picture. I did put a blank page between when I chose to experiment using permanent markers and I was glad I had.

So fun! I love this coloring book and the detail in the varying rooms. This is my favorite coloring book. Will be sorry when I complete it. I will buy more from this artist - if she has others.
