I've finished this once, and working on the second copy! Love the variety and the color, the format is wonderful. Paper is thick enough so that pen doesn't show thru to the back page. Book doesn't fall apart even after you do puzzles throughout. The colors are important to the puzzles, not a gimmick. Only complaint is that some of the dark colors are hard to see pen marks on, you'll need natural or good light for this book. Can see myself buying this book several more times...hope I get better at all of them. If you like variety suduko you'll love this!

Variety of puzzles... So much more entertaining than the regular sudoku!

After pretty much mastering the traditional sudoku, this book is a breath of fresh air for people who like sudoku with a twist. There are many variations, some easier than others, but all requiring a new thought process in addition to the usual sudoku solving. It's fun!!! Each section has an introduction to the new variation with clear directions as to how to solve. I also enjoy the color, although some colors are dark enough to make it difficult to see pencil on them. Good for people who want that extra brain boost.

I thought I was good at sudokus until I had this book. Now I am squeezing every single cell of my brain. That's what I was looking for!

I just finished the whole book, and it took me a very long time. Some of the puzzles aren't very hard, but, they are all challenging. Some are maddening, others just fun. This is a book for a real lover of sudoku, but probably not for the beginner.

The color adds another dimension to sudoku, which is fun, but the colors they used are so dark that it is very hard to see pencil marks. It could have been done with light colors.

As an avid Sudoku solver, I liked the challenge of something a bit different. Not more difficult just having to think in a slightly broader way. The only drawback is the intensity of colors on some pages makes seeing the written numbers unpleasant (I had to use heavy black pen) - the lighter colors are great. I also like levels 1-3 throughout the book with each new configuration rather than all the easy ones in front and all the hard ones in the back.

I had so much fun with the different types of puzzles that I bought a copy for another "fanatic" friend of mine.
