Overview

A revised and improved version of my printed artist book published in 1996 with the same title. This ebook contains 103 pages. It begins with an explanation of the fundamentals of color theory with prism and computer research which makes the startling conclusion that cyan, magenta, and yellow (CMY) are the primary colors of the universe. Research shows that we see all colors through subtraction of a CMY code in the cortex of our brain. It reviews the additive, subtractive and artist primaries and explains how the CMY primaries relates to the artist color wheel. It explains the color wheel and how all color comes from these three primaries. It introduces and explains 15 color paints for watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Finally it demonstrates and explains several paintings using these fundamentals.
