Come to the Father: Investigating three of life's crucial questions, and the surprising answer they all shareby Lou Bloss
"Come to the Father" is written for non-church people. It is long on stories, short on lectures, and written in a conversational tone. Designed to be user-friendly and easily understood, author Lou Bloss turns Bible principles and knowledge into easily understandable anecdotes and thought provoking insight. The message of the book is evangelistic without being preachy or overbearing. In order to come to God, a person must be made righteous through the substitutional death of Jesus Christ.

What is the message of Christianity? Lou Bloss answers that question in his book, Come to the Father. And he does an outstanding job. The flow of this book is logical, clear, and very readable. The use of scripture powerfully supports the book’s conclusions, and the personal stories help make it easily relate to the readers. The target audience would be non-Christians who want to understand what Christianity is about. There are discussion questions at the end of the chapters, and these could be used to greatly enhance the understanding (and impact) of the material. Young Christians could also greatly benefit from this material, and this would also be good material for a family devotional series.
