About the Author

Jessica Hawkins grew up between the purple mountains and under the endless sun of Palm Springs, California. She studied international business at Arizona State University and has also lived in Costa Rica and New York City. Some of her favorite things include traveling, her dog Kimo, Scrabble, driving aimlessly and creating Top Five lists. She is the helpless victim of an overactive imagination that finds inspiration in music and tranquility in writing. Currently she resides wherever her head lands, which lately is the unexpected (but warm) keyboard of her trusty MacBook.

Wonderful conclusion to the Cityscape trilogy! These books have had me captivated from the beginning.  I'm struggling to write this review, because I enjoyed this series so much, and I'm sad to see it end (kinda like saying "goodbye" to the characters...). To sum it up, this is a fantastic series!  Some of the choices made in the story are questionable at times, but this series is so well-written, and the issues in the book are handled with care. These characters are wonderful, likable, caring, emotional... and feisty, argumentative, insistent... Lol. There's so much humor in these books, too. Some of the banter between the characters had me giggling :) This is one of my favorite series.  It's definitely a set that I'll be re-reading again at some point, because in really enjoyed this storyline.

After reading the first two in this series, I was again waiting anxiously for this one - it is so easy to get caught up and invested in the characters! In this one, we finally get some long awaited resolution for these characters. The only bad thing about it is that this is the final book in the series...so I feel a little lost with nothing to anticipate next! But I already have plans to go back and re-read the whole series. For those of you who have not read the series yet, you won't want to miss these books - but they are best read in order, as they all continue where the last one left off. And to really get the full effect of the emotions it is best to start at the beginning. Also, if you are a little on the fence because of the adultery aspect, I encourage you to still give these books a try - a lot of it is in the way the author writes it, and Jessica Hawkins really tackles this subject with grace.

I think the reviews are coming from family and friends of the author.  Found the book does not flow smoothly from the first and second book.  It's nothing but sex scenes, and not that good at that', seems to e the same one over and over, and use of the eff word without any context.  Archaic phrasing for what are supposed to be modern couples.  Not much story here at all, several typos and double letters.  Ebook text is all underlined, very distracting.  On the plus side, it's better than a sleeping pill.  There are reasons there are publishing houses with people who know what they're doing.

I love this story. I didn’t know how much I missed Olivia and David till I started to read Jessica Hawkins’s novel Come Together. I enjoyed this book so much it actually helped me break away from my WoW addiction. I am still addicted, but I did divide my time between the two. This book takes up exactly where the last book left off. I was eagerly anticipating this novel as soon as I heard that it was coming out. It promises love, lust, passion, anger, betrayal, revenge, self-discovery, acceptance and more. This book doesn’t disappoint. David is the quintessential Alfa male. He is a handsome, overprotective, strong knight in shining armor that every woman wants her man to be. Olivia is a strong willed, independent woman who has let events in her past mess with the way she sees herself and how she sees others. She has to decide if she should follow her heart or protect it from being hurt. In making this decision, she could be setting herself up for torment and heartache either way. I love this author’s writing style. She created two characters that I want to get to know. I can imagine their lives after the story. She makes you route for the seemingly impossible and cause you to experience the myriad of emotions that her characters feel. I know that this is probably the last of David and Olivia’s story and the author does a great job wrapping up the loose ends. I didn’t feel like anything was rushed or forced. I will miss David and Olivia and think of them often. ***I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review*****

Well, it has happened again...the world is going about it's day and I'm over here mourning the end of another Jessica Hawkins book.    All along this series has captivated me with the raw feelings that are so eloquently put out there...the characters did come alive for me.   They became people I loved, hated, worried about, and cried for and with.  I cannot thank Jess enough for taking the chance and  putting this series out there for us to enjoy. I was the extremely lucky recipient of this ARC and I devoured it in just over one day. : )   Sadly, all great series must come to an end and although as a fan we would be more than happy to have the authors we love drag  every millisecond  possible out of these stories, I do feel that Jessica Hawkins ended this story in such a heartwarming way.   Come Together picks up the story of Olivia and David a few days after Come Alive ended.  Or that is what it felt like to me.  Ok, so we  know that Liv has made some hard choices over the last few months.  Has it really only been a few months!?!?!?!?  Anyway....as we  all know, she's been faced with decisions.   In the first two books, I felt myself drifting between feeling bad for Bill and being so frustrated with him that I really just wanted to  shake him.  Well, in Come Together I really just wanted to knock him out, scream at him, and then b***h slap him with one of those come backs or sassy comments that you usually only think of AFTER the person is gone.... and I felt bad for him at times....damn Bill. It's so hard not to give much away!  I will say that I am addicted to highlighting sections that touch me in any way while reading...and,  well, I have to admit that.....I have over 12 pages of highlighted sections. hahaha and that's because I held back! Everything you've ever wanted to know about Liv and David's relationship is laid out for us here with some off the charts sex, touching sad confessions, nerves, upsets, soul searching, arguments, make ups, break ups, and the closing of more than one chapter in  their lives.   I adore Gretchen and I'm so glad that we get to spend more time with her in Come Together.  I sort of hoped that maybe there'd be a  spin off of the series and Gretch would get her own book....ok, I'll settle for a novella because I know that there will be another glimpse  into David and Olivia's lives not to mention the sex....oh my gawd, with Gretchen (the one I tagged Bad Girlfriend) you know that there  is bound to be some really hot sex...or should I say more really hot sex, because for Come Together you should probably have an  extra pair of panties ready.  I wish that I was a spoiler kind of girl because I could totally give you big chunks of information to drool over, but alas, I am not that  kind of reviewer.
